No Office Yet

thane October 26th, 2008

Tony didn’t quite get done on Saturday. Maybe Tuesday. Maybe not.

Hi Momma

thane October 25th, 2008

So, we had the Relativelies over for dinner tonight. At one point, Clio is going around yelling “Stuart! Where is Stuart!” To which most people are responding “Not here.”

Anyway, so Joh goes next door to return some plates and stuff to the Neighborlies While she is chatting with Wendy, a little voice calls out “Hi, Momma.” Joh turns around to see Stuart peaking down at her from the crest of our porch roof. Panic ensues. He’s fine, thanks.

Tomorrow I go up and screw the windows shut.

My Mom, after hearing the story, said “I know *exactly* how she feels.”

Good News

Got the word from Tony that he will finish up my office Saturday. Wool hooo!

Now we just have to find time to paint and set it up. It will be nice to finally be able to spread out.

And so it begins…

Today Tory informed us that she has a boyfriend. More amusing than anything. Regardless, she pointed out that maybe someday he would marry this boy, Kai. Previously the had asserted thatnshe would marry her cousin Thallia, so I asked about that plan. “Maybe I will marry one of them, get a divorce, and marry the other.” I guess it is nice she has a plan.

Time Is NOT on my side

thane October 21st, 2008

These days seem to be a continuous struggle to find the time I need to get my stuff done. There is work, where I am juggling deadlines for multiple projects. Then there is class, where I have let myself fall behind on my reading. Will I ever catch up? Somehow, I doubt it. Then there is the house work, time with the kids, cooking, and my relationship win my wife. It’s times like these when working from home is not really a plus. *sigh*

iPhone To The Rescue

thane October 21st, 2008

Well, it finally happened. I got an iPhone. Maybe this will get me post more frequently. Probably there will just be a burst of short posts followed by total silence. You should be used to that by now.
